• What do sessions 'look like?'

Together, we will establish what modalities and tools work best for you and integrate them into the therapy, creating a unique treatment for each client. I use modalities that incorporate principles from humanistic, client-centered, and Acceptance and Commitment based therapies.

  • Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I currently accept United, Oxford, Aetna, Cigna, and Oscar Health.

  • What should I expect if I reach out for a consultation?

I will contact you to schedule a 15 minute phone consultation where I can answer any questions you may have and get a brief overview of what you are looking for at this time. If we are a good fit to work together, we schedule an initial intake session.

  • How long are sessions?

Sessions typically last 50-55 minutes and can vary from weekly to biweekly. I do offer half hour and 45 minute sessions if that fits best for clients.

  • Do you provide in person sessions?

At this time I only offer virtual therapy for individuals located in Colorado.

  • What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy uses the process of art making as an outlet to communicate emotions and address challenges in an alternative way. Recovery can be a creative and transformational process; sometimes words alone are not enough to explore experiences and feelings.  The art process can allow individuals to explore unknown facets of themselves, communicate nonverbally, and achieve insight through the use of metaphors and symbols.
